“My experience commissioning paintings from Freek was simple and enjoyable. I reached out to Freek via email proposing three different paintings that I wanted to have done for my house. Each of the paintings were completely different in style, I was expecting some hesitation due to this, but to my pleasant surprise Freek came back to me with feedback and ideas on each of them. We discussed the elements that I wanted in each piece of art via email, and after a few weeks we met up in person and he showed me some sketches that him and his wife did. About a month later I picked the paintings up I was blown away with the end result – the quality of his work is fantastic.” –Gordon Evens

“An enjoyable process right from the beginning. We came to Freek with a landscape idea, and he was able to transform it into the focal point of our living room. The process started with Freek coming over to our house, seeing the space, the lighting, and the wall size. We then brainstormed and went through some photos and pictures, eventually settling on a concept. Freek produced several sketches and several color combinations which we used to pick a final direction for the painting. We found the process very collaborative and benefited from both Freek’s talent as a painter, as well as his eye for art and design. – We look forward to working on another project with Freek in the future.” –Graham Dobos

“We contacted Freek about a painting that we wanted of our three boys. Freek came over to our house we discussed the concept [size] that we wanted. He require some photo’s of the boys, made up a sketch from which we made a couple of changes. He came back with an outstanding painting. We have received rave reviews from friends and family that have seen it. In my mind there just isn’t any art that you can buy that has the meaning of something created about your family, it is a keepsake for generations to come.” –Ben and Terri Flegel
