VDB Fine Art + Design consists of Freek and Jessie van den Beukel. VDB stands for our last name.
Our Story
It began with a chance meeting in Germany in 2003. The dream grew slowly. We studied together in Europe, survived more than a year apart with daily phone calls between Canada and the Netherlands and finally Freek ("Frake") made the big move across the ocean. After long being engaged to one another we were married on July 27, 2007. We currently reside in Calgary, serving the local business community with our visual art andgraphic/web design services.
Education
Freek has obtained a Bachelor of Product Design at the Technical University Delft, the Netherlands. Jessie has obtained a Bachelor of Behavioural Science at Nazarene University, Calgary, Canada.
Our Art
Our shared passion for fine art and design brought us together initially and continues to bind us as we live out our creative dreams together. We hope that you may find something in our portfolio that inspires you!
